Hello! This is an awesome setup. I've watched a lot of your towing videos and part of the reason I went with an R1S was because of watching these videos, so thanks! I've been towing a 22' camper... under 5,000 pounds and it's super easy. We are thinking about upgrading campers to a much larger unit. The unit we are thinking about is 6,883 dry and a hitch weight of 645. We are assuming we will be in the 7,500 pound zone when loaded, so very similar to your Airstream. It's a 34' camper though, so I'm worried about length and just jumping up in towing a 22' to a 34'. Seems like this tows really easy for you, but was there a big learning curve when you started? I've also heard that there should be more of a buffer on what you are towing vs your towing specs, where this would put us pretty close to capacity. Any other tips for making a move to a long trailer? Thanks!

Any trip you dont have to beat the children, it's a good day. Looks terrible with a trailer. I can't imagine spending more time at chargers.

Think about one day you forget to charge and need to go office in 20 min, how long you gonna be wait to charge it up? Does our government understand this simple math? or general people do understand. When it's winter time, it will not even charge in 1 h:30 hrs, it will take take full day,24 hrs or more in the supercharger!!

1. This is not an RV, this is a TRAILER. Do you know the difference? Please educate yourself and fix the title misrepresentation. 2. Your speech sounds slurred as if its on slo-mo or drunk. If you narrate videos, tighten it up and complete your words. Currently, your speech pattern resembles a pair of baggy pants about to fall off. Cringe. 3. Do not end your sentences on a high note as if asking a question. We expect this of teenage girls, but not grown men. It sounds indecisive and asking for approval. End on a normal down note, definitive. 4. Hardly a tour of anything. This is slip shod and delegated to a robot voice that rattles out facts. If you do a tour, put some effort into it. Very disappointing.

Free Supercharging for life! that's excellent. .but please beware tesla may take it away once they find out that's there's a chnage of owner.. Also it's pretty odd too or does not make sense that the original owner did not transfer the supercharging for life in his new PLAID... Tesla offered that option where you could transfer FS4L to a new S or X or Y..... tesla does not provde free supercharging for life anymore even in PLAID .... hmmmm... are you sure? you may want to check again with Tesla...

QUESTION...you said two screws will do....why did not you use the top entry point in the front and the rear side entry point that are both accessible without going through what you did trying to put the front torque in....is there a reason you did it or just a live and learn ...thanks Mark and I subscribed and went to your webpage...again THANKS

Well, it looks fantastic. I'm just sad I live in NZ as it will certainly take some time before it may be available here. At a time when housing is so overpriced everywhere, it would be a great alternative to buying a home for literally millions in many places. The Lightship will be wonderful for retirees who often use caravans as a main residence here in NZ because we have so many wonderful, inexpensive natural camping areas. After retirement you can literally camp at a different beach or forest every day if you want. (We don't allow beaches to be owned, except for ports). I would love to tow one of these behind my own EV when I retire.

You appear to be grossly exceeding that from I can tell in the video. Is this not a concern of yours?

Was waiting for a sudden update that our Airstream burned down yesterday. I hope you have better results a year later charging.

You didn't have to use a weight distribution and sway control hitch? Did you get any sway?

I am not sure if this is the charger or Ford for the charge time. Tesla vehicles charge at a much faster rate than this. 10% to 80% is usually less than 30 min on a 150kW charger and 15 min on a 250kW charger. This is enough time to grab a meal or go to the washroom.

Was this on a 24 module or 20 module battery? Did any of the recent software updates fix this?

If you ask it’s not stealing. A lot of airbnbs offer actual EV chargers as an amenity. So if it’s important to you then just book with those hosts since the price to charge is already baked in to your nightly stay.

I had the same probs with my new lightning pro. Twice I was stranded charging 5kW speed for 13 hours. Finally I replaced the charging point under warranty and it’s fine now. This week travelled from SoCAL to Michigan passing through North Platte and no problems… so far

We have a Model Y LR and considering trading in for a Model X LR and purchase a Airstream Carvel FB 22… exciting possibilities ahead in 2025!!!

You have all been coned into thinking these vehicles are zero emissions. When in reality the production, disposal and accident fires of the batteries pollute the environment with bis-FASIs a dangerous PFAS chemical that has been named a forever chemical. It never breaks down and stays in the environment forever. So how they say they are environmentally friendly is just a joke.

Let it be known that EVs require constant electricity flow to charge their batteries, and the majority of campgrounds’ electrical pedestals do not have this capability.

Paying 0.44 a minute is a good price for the first 50% adter that, it’s a scam, you get 5 kWh an hour charging after 90% and each kWh is usualy .15 cents while your paying 5.5$ a kWh
